For its first release, Moelleux Records is proud to present Hypo’s new EP - a limited 'clear vinyl' edition. More than just a bonus to Coco Douleur, it’s the second part of a diptych. Those six songs are the result of a collaboration with six different artists and bands: members of La Chatte, Parisian pop star Kumisolo, Italian ambient composer Pirandelo, laptop music pioneer Carl Stone, EDH, ADK from mythic Japanese band Sam & Valley revealed by Aphex Twin on the label Reflex.

Pour sa première sortie, le label Moelleux Records édite le nouvel EP de Hypo, sous la forme d’un maxi vinyle transparent. Bien plus qu’un bonus à l’album Coco Douleur paru sur Tsunami-Addiction / Discograph le 1er mars 2010, il est le second volet d’un diptyque indissociable (album + ep). Les six titres inédits qui le constituent sont en fait six collaborations : avec les membres du groupe La Chatte, avec la star de la J-Pop parisienne Kumisolo, le compositeur ambient italien Pirandelo, le pionnier de la laptop music américaine Carl Stone, mais aussi EDH, la collaboratrice régulière de Hypo, et ADK, le chanteur du mythique duo japonais Sam & Valley, révélé par Aphex Twin sur le label Rephlex.

Deux ans après le mélancolique “Silent Valley”, Faustine Seilman revient aujourd’hui avec “Whispers & Shouts”, un album ombragé et lumineux. Toujours armée de son piano et de sa voix au timbre grave, Faustine Seilman nous livre ici un disque nous rappelant tantôt l'excentricité de Blondie, tantôt la noirceur de Barbara. "Whispers & Shouts" alterne ballades (proches des Radiohead de “The Bend” sur “Prison of Gold”, ou du Nick Cave période “Murder Ballads” sur “Facing The Ocean”), pop à l'anglaise (The Cure de "The Lovecats" sur "Lost friends", The Beatles de "Strawberry Fields" sur "The Young Man & The Sea") et indie-rock enflammé à la Arcade Fire ou Wolf Parade ("Never Ending Song")."

"It Doesn't Take a Whole Week" is taken from the forthcoming album but the mix of this 7" version is different. "High & High" only appears on this 7".

After having toured the US in september 2009 and Europe last winter, MNIN delivers his new EP « Here In Don Benito » (feb. 2010), recorded in Chicago at the end of his american tour ,with a little help from his friends Faustine Seilman and Pillars & Tongues.

Unexpected comeback of a self proclaimed slacker, Lovebuzz is the first KingQ4 record in a decade, as his first and only self-titled album was released in…2001. Back then, Bertrand Groussard’s effort was a groundbreaking thing: the first consistent long player of French electronica. This insatiable jack of all trades consequently devoted to collective projects (lately with a drums & bass duet named She’s Dead), always seeking for novelty, invention and sheer excitement – of which this inventive, incentive and incandescent EP is yet another dazzling proof. Born under the auspices of a raw and rave-y cover of The Shocking Blue’s classic masterpiece (already covered by a band-you-might-have-heard-of called Nirvana), “Love Buzz” cracks its way between heavy metal IDM (“Tekmoon”, something like a Plaid tune filled with cement), techno rock pulsations and emotional indie rock (« Slackpoitation », with vocals performed by Orval Carlos Sibelius) and adolescent electropop (« Screen », with vocals by Suzanne the Man, floats somewhere between Björk and OMD). An adult affair, built around a simple heart for hardhead teens.

Marquant le retour aux affaires inespéré d’un grand slacker, Lovebuzz est le premier disque de KingQ4 depuis… 2001. Auteur d’une des toutes premières pierres angulaires de ce qu’on appelait à tort ou à raison l’electronica française, ce touche-à-tout résolument original a pourtant enchaîné les projets en collectif (notamment avec le méchant duo She’s Dead). Et ce 4 titres fracassant et inclassable en est le meilleur témoignage. Sous les bons auspices d’une reprise raw et rave du classique de Shocking Blue (déjà repris par Nirvana, banane), « Love Buzz » tortille de la tête et des fesses entre heavy IDM (« Tekmoon », du Plaid en ciment), pulsations techno rock et indie cœur en chou-fleur (« Slackpoitation » avec Orval Carlos Sibelius) et electro pop adolescente (« Screen », avec Suzanne the Man, entre Björk et OMD).
