Did you ever notice that some internet sites such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and co. only offer 30 seconds of every track you want to listen to? Can we really make up our minds about the quality of a song, of an artist in 30 seconds? What is the meaning of that duration: a simple technical agreement? a legal constraint? or the conviction that after 30 seconds people simply don’t listen anymore?
Though it seems impossible to appreciate music in that kind of way, this duration may also lead the consumers to a new form of listening. We suggest a reversal of this commercial oddity. We want to release the first album that one could fully listen to on Amazon! How? By making every artist on this album write a 30 seconds track!
